An expected decision from Al-Burhan to restore full powers of the Intelligence Service

Informed sources affirmed, according to Al-Taghyeer, that President of the Sovereignty Council TSC ,Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, is to approve a decision to restore full powers of the National Security Service, which are represented in Article (25) of preventive detention and Article 33, A, immunity to the enemy, in addition to the powers of inspection and investigation.
It is noteworthy that the 2019 Constitutional Document specified the powers of the Security Service to collect and analyze information only, and after the measures taken by the military component on October 25, 2021, some of the old powers of the Security Service were restored.
