Follow-ups of (Al-Ahdath) revealed that the dollar continued to rise in morning trading on the first day of Eid al-Fitr (Wednesday) in the black market in Sudan.
According to a currency trader, the purchase price of the US dollar reached 1,440 Sudanese pounds, while the selling price reached 1,420 pounds.
Indicating that the price of the Saudi riyal reached 378.66 pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham exceeded 386.92 pounds, and the price of the Qatari riyal reached 389.04 pounds.
At the time, the dollar was being exchanged at a price of 1,090 Sudanese pounds at the Bank of Khartoum, 1,200 pounds at the Omdurman Bank, and about 1,180 pounds at the Faisal Bank.
Some traders pointed to today’s recession in trading activity due to the Eid holiday.
