Brazilian Neymar da Silva, the Al Hilal star, mocked his former team, Paris Saint-Germain, after the victory achieved by Barcelona, for which he played, in the Champions League match.
Barca snatched an exciting victory from its host, PSG, with a score of 3-2 on Wednesday, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Brazilian Rafinha scored a brace in the match, and he also celebrated the first goal in Neymar’s style, sticking out his tongue and placing his hands next to his face.
Barcelona’s official account, on the Instagram platform, published a photo of Rafinha’s celebration, and accompanied it with a comment: “When you score your first goal in the Champions League.”
Neymar interacted with Barca’s post, which highlights his famous celebration, as he commented with sarcastic emojis, in support of his compatriot and his former club.
Barca is close to qualifying for the semi-finals of the continental championship, as a draw with any result in the second leg of the quarter-finals at the Luis Companis Stadium next Tuesday is sufficient for them.
Neymar played for Barcelona from 2013 to 2017, before moving to Saint-Germain to experiment until 2023.
Neymar is absent from Al Hilal’s ranks, as he is spending a rehabilitation period after the cruciate ligament injury to his knee that he suffered last October.
