14 thousand tons of crops arrive to El Obeid crops market

The Executive Director of the El Obeid Crop Market, Hassan Bab Al-Rahma, revealed that 14,221 tons of crops arrived during the month of last March from the various production areas of the El Obeid Crop Market.
He explained that the crops received included hashab gum, acacia, peeled beans, hibiscus, raw beans, and watermelon seeds.
He pointed out that there is an increase in the volume of imports due to the arrangements to facilitate the deportation process.
Bab al-Rahma added that 94,821 sacks of corn arrived in the same period.
He stressed that the market’s anti-smuggling department is making great efforts to monitor the movement of importing and exporting crops, which has reduced the amount of leakage and loss of various crops.
