Foreign currency prices continued to rise against the Sudanese pound, as the Sudanese pound lost 60% of its value within a year of the war continuing.
On Tuesday, the price of the dollar recorded a new rise, and dealers in the foreign exchange market reported to (Al-Ahdath) that the purchase price in parallel (unofficial) market trading (Tuesday) reached 1,420 pounds, while the selling price reached 1,440 pounds.
The price of the Saudi riyal also witnessed an increase, reaching 378.66 pounds, the Emirati dirham rose to about 386.92 pounds, while the Qatari riyal recorded an increase of about 389.04 pounds.
In banks, exchange rates also rose despite their variation from one bank to another, as the dollar reached 1,120 pounds in the Bank of Khartoum, as the price approached 1,200 pounds in the Faisal Islamic Bank, while it reached 1,180 pounds in the Omdurman National Bank.
