Ancelotti: We are targeting point 80 of El Clásico

Italian Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s Spanish coach, revealed the physical condition his players were in after the difficult City match, and defended his team’s defensive method against Man City, “I am not surprised. Everyone can have their opinion. For us, it is very clear how we should play.” He said. “You have to deal well when you have the ball and when you don’t have it. Regarding the participation of Brazilian Militao against Barcelona as a starter in El Clásico, “He could be a starter, but he only needs minutes before he is ready. He wants to play which may be an option.” Ancelotti commented.

“He has always been very good on the field. He has helped the team a lot. A strict player and that is why I appointed him as he contributed as a winger, a pivot, and in another line, and that’s why he is indispensable.” Ancelotti praised Valverde.

Regarding reaching the 80th point at the top of La Liga if we win El Clásico, “We are very close as we are about to play against a very competitive team. They are in very good condition, but El Clásico is always competitive.” Ancelotti replied.

“At the moment we are doing a very good job. The cake is ready and the cherry is missing and this month we have to achieve it. We have recovered Militao and Courtois and we only need Alaba.” The Real Madrid coach continued.
