Exported Free Gold Exceeds $428 Million

The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company has revealed a report on gold exports for the first quarter of this year, whose value exceeded (428) million dollars, and was supplied to the Central Bank of Sudan.
The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, Mohamed Taher Omar, confirmed that the recent policies taken by the company had a significant impact on stimulating the export process.
He pointed out that the company expects by the end of this year that gold exports will reach 2 billion and 182 million dollars.
The company’s general manager attributed this great success to the Sudanese people to spread signs of hope in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is experiencing.
For his part, the Acting Director of the General Administration for Supervision and Control of Export Companies, Ayman Ali Hamed, confirmed that the company was able, during the first quarter period, to exceed (7) tons and (626) kilograms, considering this quantity a surge in the export of free gold.
