The European Football Association (UEFA) has decided to increase the number of players in the rosters of the Euro 2024 teams from 23 to 26 players. The tournament will be organized in a number of German cities, for the second time, after there were 26 players in the rosters of the teams that participated in the previous edition of the competition, “Euro 2020.” For the first time, due to Corona, the UEFA National Team Competitions Committee voted for the increase, and it is certain that the European Football Association’s Executive Committee will approve the proposal this week after it received the support of the national team coaches during a pre-tournament workshop in April 2024, and the new version will be launched. Next June 14, between the German national team and its Scottish counterpart in the opening match at the Allianz Arena, and it will continue until July 14, 2024 and includes 24 European teams, and the final match will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on July 14, 2024.
