The Secretary-General of the National Council for Child Welfare, Abdul Qadir Abdullah Abu,has revealed shocking numbers of child deaths. He said in statements that the latest statistics on children indicated the loss and death of more than (5) thousand children in Khartoum State alone, in addition to more than (2,500) children in Gezira State, besides the killing, rape and burial alive of thousands of children in the various states of Darfur at the hands of the Rapid Support Militia (RSF).
The National Council for Child Welfare in Sudan criticized the neglect of the international community and international and regional human rights organizations working in the field of children by not issuing any statement condemning or imposing deterrent penalties on the RSF regarding what it did against the children of Sudan.
