The director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, an expert in the mining industry, Engineer Mujahid Al-Balal, has attributed the growth in gold exports despite the war conditions to the rapid movement of the Ministry of Minerals and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, which had a significant impact on exports.

He said in a statement to (Sudan Events) : The rapid movement contributed to the implementation of exceptional measures in coordination with other institutions, which led to correcting the Khartoum Gold Refinery’s exit from the procedural session as a technical reference.

In addition to reassuring gold production companies to continue or return to work depending on the situation of each company, especially since most of them operate in safe states.

He added by saying, “Harm may bring benefit” since the cessation of the construction of gold as the central market and traditional stock exchange led to the interaction of the states governments by establishing trade markets for gold in their capitals, which led to the revitalization of trade and ease of trading.

However, he warned of the danger of weakening the control authority for the movement and trade of gold, which would lead to the ease of leakage of gold across open borders.

Pointing out that gold, under the current circumstances, has become the closest and easiest solution to meet the country’s urgent needs from abroad, which had an impact in increasing exports.
