The Austrian Federation deals a strong blow to Bayern and announces the continuation of Rangnick

The Austrian Football Association officially announced, yesterday, Thursday, that German coach Ralf Rangnick will continue in his position as coach of the Austrian national team and lead the first team until after the 2024 European Championship after the end of the European Championship, after the coach rejected an offer from Bayern Munich, “Rangnick, 65 years old, has made his decision to continue in his position as coach of the Austrian national team after the 2024 European Championship.” The Austrian Football Association said on its official website. “Ralph Rangnick continues to lead the Austrian national team… We have a lot to do together.” The Austrian Federation added in a statement. Rangnick, 65 years old, rejected Bayern Munich’s offer after entering into long negotiations. The final days of succeeding Thomas Tuchel, who will leave at the end of this season. “I am the coach of the Austrian national team with all my heart. I really enjoy this job and I am determined to continue successfully on the path we have chosen. I would like to state frankly that this is not a rejection of Bayern Munich, but rather  For the sake of the Austrian national team and our common goals,” Rangnick said. “Our full focus is on the Euro 2024 tournament, and we will do everything in our power to reach the maximum possible extent.” He added.

The German coach explained that his decision is not a rejection of Bayern Munich, but rather an affirmation of his commitment to the project he is working on with the Austrian Football Association.
