Air Strikes and Bombing of Militia concentrations in Gezira and Khartoum

The Sudanese army’s warplanes launched raids on Sunday morning on the Rapid Support militia’s concentration areas in the Shabarqa area, east of the city of Wad Medani in Gezira state.
According to Sudan Tribune, the air strikes focused on rain-fed agriculture areas adjacent to Shabarqa, noting that members of the Rapid Support Militia (RSF) reside in civilian houses in the area.
In Khartoum State, the army continued artillery shelling from its positions north of Omdurman during the hours of Saturday night and since Sunday morning on militia positions in Khartoum Bahri and the capital, Khartoum.
Columns of smoke were seen rising from the center of Khartoum Bahri and from the Doroshab suburb, north of Khartoum Bahri, in conjunction with the army artillery shelling.
