The Gedaref Governor Calls for Formation of Portfolio to Finance Agricultural Season Inputs

The Acting Governor of Gedaref, Major General (Retired) Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, has called on the banks operating in the state to form a portfolio to finance the production inputs of the next agricultural season in accordance with guarantees, while financing the establishment of industries, activating the labor market, and community development, in addition to continuing to support the war effort.
In his meeting with bank branch managers, the Governor discussed the banks’ preparations to finance the new agricultural season after the successes they achieved in financing the previous season in light of the circumstances the country is going through.
Bank managers confirmed their readiness to finance the agricultural season and stand with the state government in development projects and services.
