The Brazilian club Fluminense announced the return of its former star, Thiago Silva, after a long period of European experiences that lasted about 15 years, during which he wore the shirts of many European teams, the last of which was Chelsea.
The official Chelsea FC website stated: After four seasons spent with Chelsea, Thiago Silva will leave after our final match of the English Premier League season against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, and will return to the Brazilian club Fluminense. Chelsea have agreed with Thiago on the possibility of him joining his new teammates early after Signing a two-year contract with the Brazilian club, Thiago will be allowed to train with Fluminense before transferring his registration on July 1. The 39-year-old will leave Stamford Bridge having made more than 150 appearances for the Blues and lifting the Champions League, Club World Cup and World European Cup.
