Ivan Rakitic, the Saudi Al-Shabab player, confirmed: On the possibility of his compatriot Luka Modric, the Spanish Real Madrid player, moving to the Saudi League next summer.
Rakitic said in press statements reported by the Saudi newspaper Al-Marsad that Luka joining one of the Saudi League clubs is a possibility, and that he sees him as a big brother and wishes him success. Rakitic explained that he spent 13 years alongside Modric in the ranks of the Croatian national team, and they achieved achievements in the national team jersey together, adding that if his compatriot decides to leave the ranks of Real Madrid, he hopes to join the Saudi League, specifically in the youth team, so that they can meet again.
