Sudan Foreign Ministry: Detention of (122) Stolen Cars in South Sudan

The Chargé d’Affairs of the Sudanese Embassy in Juba, Ambassador Jamal Malik, has revealed that the authorities in South Sudan detained about 122 stolen cars in Renk and a large number in the city of Aweil in Northern Bahr El Ghazal.
He said, according to the Sudan News Agency, that the authorities in South Sudan issued a decision prohibiting the registration of any car coming from Sudan in Juba or other states without official permission until the cars were reviewed according to the data provided by the traffic delegation from Sudan related to the stolen cars.
He praised the cooperation with Interpol in South Sudan in circulating reports and monitoring the stolen cars to be seized, and praised the good spirit and good cooperation with the government of Sudan in the file of the stolen cars.
