Armed Men Assassinate 4 People in Darfur

Four citizens were killed and three others were injured as a result of an attack launched by an armed group carrying heavy and light weapons on the furqan (sub-villages) residents in the Fakarin area of Kobm locality in South Darfur state, about 70 meters west of the Markondi administrative unit.
A citizen of Kobm, who preferred not to be disclosed, told Darfur 24 that an armed group attacked Furqan livestock owners in the Fakarin area, west of the Dambar area, at approximately three o’clock on Friday morning, and stole large numbers of cows and headed towards the areas where the Salamat tribe is located, which is experiencing conflict and tension with the Beni Halba tribe.
He confirmed that the armed group killed 4 citizens who owned cows belonging to the Bani Halba tribe, and wounded three others who were taken to the Raheed Al-Bardi local hospital.
