Egyptian club Zamalek will host Moroccan club RS Berkane on Sunday evening, in the first leg of the African Confederation Cup final at the municipal stadium in Berkane. The two teams will meet in the confederation final for the second time, where Zamalek won the 2019 title at the expense of RS Berkane on penalties (5-3) after each of them won by a score of (1-0) at home, which is the first match to be played twice in the Confederation Final, and RS Berkane can clinch its third title in the Confederation and equal CS Sfaxien as the holder of the highest number of titles in the competition. If RS Berkane wins the title, this will be the eighth title for Moroccan teams. Zamalek lost only one of their last 21 matches in the Confederation Cup (W12 D8) was against RS Berkane in the 2019 final – RS Berkane have won their last 11 home matches in the Confederation Cup (including a win over USM Alger in the semi-final this season.)
