The Secretary-General of the Arab Union for the Development of Industrial Exports of the League of Arab States, Abdul Moneim Mohamed Mahmoud, has confirmed the launch of the Industrial Reconstruction Conference in Sudan, which will be held in Port Sudan, on May 15, 2024. Its outputs will be presented by the Ministry of Industry at the workshop of the Arab Union for the Development of Industrial Exports, which will be held in Cairo on June 10.
He added that the conference will address important studies.
According to SUNA, he revealed preparations to hold an international Arab conference for investors in Sudan after the end of the war and the return of security stability in Sudan, with the aim of contributing to the rebuilding of the industrial sector in Sudan and the establishment of new industries with modern global technologies that have reached the fourth generation. He pointed out that the Cairo workshop targets decision-makers in the Sudanese government, representatives of Sudanese industries and the private sector, international organizations and financial institutions, and experts and academics and researchers in the field of industry and technology.
It is expected to achieve results It contributes to developing a comprehensive action plan, which includes the financial and technical needs, to rebuild and rehabilitate the industrial sector in Sudan.
