Qatar Hosts Forum on Investment in Sudan

Qatar has bannounced that it will host an economic forum next week in which investment in Sudan will be presented on the meeting’s agenda.
During the meeting with the Sudanese Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibriel Ibrahim, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Qatari Ministry of Finance, Saud Bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah, on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the 33rd Arab League Council, hosted by Bahrain, the Qatari and Sudanese sides stressed the importance of joint work and continued support to ensure the return of stability and economic growth in Sudan.
The Sudanese minister presented a comprehensive report on the current situation in Sudan, where the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening brotherly relations and exploring new ways of commercial cooperation in vital areas such as minerals, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
