Foreign currency prices recorded a decline against the Sudanese pound.
Foreign currency prices recorded a new increase in parallel market trading (Tuesday) against the Sudanese currency.
Traders in the currency market told (Sudan Events) that the selling price of the dollar reached 1,750 pounds, while the buying price reached 1,730 pounds, and the price of the Saudi riyal rose to 461.33 pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham reached 471.38 pounds, at a time when the price of the Qatari riyal reached 475.27 pounds. The price of the Omani riyal recorded an unexpected price, reaching 4552.63 Sudanese pounds, and the Bahraini dinar recorded the same price.
The price of the dollar in the Bank of Khartoum recorded 1,255 Sudanese pounds, and its price in the Bank of Omdurman reached about 1,260 pounds.
Economists had expected foreign currency prices to decline after government statements announcing new procedures and policies to control the exchange rate.
