Guterres and Aboul Gheit: The Situation in Sudan is at Risk

On the sidelines of the Arab Summit held in Manama, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, received the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
The official spokesman for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Jamal Rushdi, said that Aboul Gheit and Guterres touched on the dangerous situation in Sudan, which portends further deterioration in humanitarian terms, especially in North Darfur.
The two parties renewed their call for an immediate ceasefire to spare the Sudanese against a humanitarian crisis that intensifies every day.
