The Latest Cable to General Al-Burhan
By: Hussein Khojali
We all know that when the leadership of neighboring Addis Ababa was subjected to the rebellion, it mobilized its people and army and silenced African, regional and international organizations, and ordered them not to interfere, considering that this was an internal matter. On that day, its president led the battle in front of his soldiers until he preserved his federal experience and his unified homeland with a remarkable victory.
No one blamed him and no one punished him. Rather, he became, in the eyes of many capitals, a bold and respectable African leader. When people calmed down, security was established, and the man silenced the rebels, he signed a peace agreement in which the state’s hand was upper and the greedy’s was lower.
Because thing within thing is mentioned, recent and distant history often accepts similarity. We are seizing this opportunity to send a cable from a sea of words to the Sudanese leadership stating:
(Dear General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, this people does not dream of having Salah Eldin Al-Ayyubi, but only Abiye Ahmed the Ethiopian)
The Sudanese people are at this critical stage waiting for a knight, a leader, a savior, and a sage. This is your last chance to attain this merit and enter history from its widest gates, and you have a good example in Field Marshal Suwar Al-Dhahab. Let the starting blow be the recovery of the oppressed Medani, the seizing of the usurped Nyala, and the wounded Geneina. Otherwise, be prepared to confront the millions pouring into the streets like torrents, demanding your resignation (and permission to step down), and everyone bears witness that the street and the general leadership can give birth to a new leadership .
