Umma Party: Taqadum Disagreements Prompted Hamdouk to sign Nairobi Declaration in his Personal Capacity
Sudan Events – Aya Ibrahim
The head of the political sector of the Umma Party (Mubarak Al-Fadil’s wing), Fathi Hassan Osman, has revealed a state of fragmentation and disagreements within the coordination components (Taqadum) that prompted Abdullah Hamdouk to sign the Nairobi Declaration in his personal capacity.
Osman told (Sudan Events) that the National Umma Party, which I consider to be the mainstay of (Taqadum), along with some of the banner parties, is also suffering from disagreements that he described as profound regarding its relationship with the Taqadum coordination and its representation in , the signing of a political declaration with the Rapid Support Militia, and selective invitations to attend conferences. He said that the current of Al-Wathiq Al-Barir and Siddiq Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi hijacked the party’s decision, according to what was stated in the statements of the Institutional Reform Group.
