Bayern Munich finalizes its agreement with Kompany

German club Bayern Munich has reached an agreement with Belgian coach Vincent Kompany to coach the Bavarian first team, succeeding the late Thomas Tuchel, who confirmed his departure before the end of the current season.
Bayern Munich is close to finalizing the contract with Kompany, who has a long-term contract with Burnley, the English club.
This season, Kompany failed to lead Burnley to remain among the Premier League clubs, as the team ranked 19th with 24 points.
Kompany, 38 years old, is no stranger to the German League, as he played for Hamburg FC from 2006-2008, before moving to City from 2008-2019.
The Bayern Munich board feels that Vincent Kompany has huge potential to become a top coach and they trust his vision and ideas.
