The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, confirmed that the reports received from the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, are horrific in terms of attacks on civilians and ethnic targeting.
Grandi called in a tweet on X platform that people fear checkpoints to the extent that prevents them from trying to escape.”
