A Fire Causes Huge Losses in the Nouri Agricultural Project

A fire outbreak caused losses and damage to large numbers of palm trees, fruit trees and plantings in parts of the Nouri Agricultural Project.
The Civil Defense Police, with the help of the youth of the Nouri area, the management of the Nouri Agricultural Project, and the police, made great efforts to extinguish the fire and limit its spread.
The Nouri fire is considered the second in a period of ten days, as a similar fire broke out on the thirteenth of this May in the Tangasi region, causing huge losses in palm trees and crops. Palm and crop fires have become an obsession that disturbs the lives of hundreds of farmers in the locality because they rely heavily on crops and horticultural products as an Essential source of livelihood of their daily living.
