OCHA: (85) People Killed and (700) Injured within Two Weeks in El Fasher

The United Nations Coordination for Humanitarian Affairs in Sudan (OCHA) counted the killing of 85 people and the injury of about 700 others during two weeks of clashes in El Fasher.
In its latest report, Friday, OCHA warned that the humanitarian situation for about 800,000 civilians in the city of El Fasher has deteriorated since the escalation of battles in the city on May 10.
The report indicated that about 250 families have fled from El Fasher since last Monday to various destinations due to the ongoing fighting.
In its report, OCHA called for protecting civilians and allowing people to move to safety, according to the report, which spoke of the continued communications outages and movement restrictions in the city.
