Directives from Al-Burhan to Sultan of Masalit to Support Government’s Efforts to Achieve Peace

On Saturday, the President of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, received Saad Abdul Rahman Bahr Al-Din, Sultan of Dar Masalit.
Bahr Al-Din said in a press statement that he “briefed the President of the Sovereign Council on the results of his foreign visit and the meetings he held within the framework of achieving peace, ending the war, and supporting and assisting the armed forces to defeat the rebel terrorist militia,” noting that the meeting touched on the necessary needs during the next stage for citizens who were displaced from their homes due to… the war.
The Sultan of Dar Masalit indicated that he would pay a foreign visit, and said, “We took some directives from the President of the Sovereign Council regarding Sudanese issues and to support the efforts led by the government to achieve peace and stability and end the war.”
