Seizing Expired Food Items

The health authorities in the East Nile Administrative Unit and the Food Control Department in the Northern State confiscated large quantities of expired food items in the villages and areas of the East Nile Administrative Unit.
The Director of the East Nile Administrative Unit, Al-Nour Ali Al-Nour, confirmed that the safety and health of the citizen and what he eats and drinks is one of the first priorities for work. He appeals to all citizens to ensure the validity of food items before purchasing them and to report immediately when there are expired items.
Al-Nour stated that the campaigns will continue until the unit is cleaned of any spoiled materials, praising the Department of Health Affairs, Food Control and Regular Enforcements for their great efforts in the seizures.
