The Ministry of Minerals and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited have revealed that they have developed practical solutions to most of the issues and observations raised by investors in the mining sector, especially issues related to the traditional mining waste treatment sector, for example issues of processing processed ores (Recycle) and low-concentration ores (Low grade).
The Ministry attributed in an explanatory statement that this comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Minerals and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Limited Company to address the problems facing investors in the mining sector. The Ministry affirmed its firm belief that solving problems can only be achieved with the participation of stakeholders.
The statement called on any company wishing to process any of the above-mentioned raw materials to submit an economic feasibility study for the raw materials it owns, along with providing an idea of the quantity of raw materials, the processing method, and production costs. The Ministry, in turn, will review the studies and agree with the companies to complete the processing operations.
The Ministry of Minerals also confirmed that it is moving forward with implementing the outcomes of the meeting held in Cairo during the previous period in the presence of the Minister of Minerals, the Minister of Finance, the Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company and the Director of the General Administration for Mining Insurance, as the Ministry has actually begun to address some issues that will be announced in the coming days.
Since they resumed work in May of the previous year, the Ministry, the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, and all arms of the Ministry have continued to provide all necessary facilities to help companies and entities investing in the sector carry out their work, especially with regard to providing production inputs, bringing in foreign experts, and addressing problems of collecting state fees and other matters. problems on a daily basis. It called on all investors to work hard to complete the work and increase production in accordance with the controls regulating the activity, as follows: strict adherence to environmental, health and occupational safety controls, and attention to the qualification of national cadres.
