Hamdeen Sabahi: Zionists Attempting to Create a New Catastrophe in Sudan
Beirut – Adi El-Baz
The Secretary-General of the Arab Nationalist Conference, Hamdeen Sabahi, affirmed that Zionists are attempting to create a new catastrophe in Sudan by displacing its people and occupying its land.
During his address on Saturday at the sessions of the Arab Nationalist Conference held in Beirut on its second day, Sabahi said that the ongoing war in Sudan should be the war of the entire Arab nation because it threatens the fate and existence of the most important and largest Arab country, as well as the Arab national security. He emphasized that Sudan has the right to defend its sovereignty, the unity of its institutions, and its unified existence.
Sabahi also stated that what is happening in Sudan is not separate from what is happening in Gaza, and that the forces of aggression are targeting Sudan because of its positions on the central Arab issue.
Meanwhile, Osama Hamdan said that Sudan is facing a major conspiracy aimed at its dismantling, indicating that the American strategy has shifted from preserving Israel’s security to integrating the Zionist entity into the region, which cannot be achieved without breaking up the region into small and weak states.
The second day of the conference witnessed a session dedicated to the war in Sudan, during which the President of the General Union of Sudanese Journalists, Sadiq Al-Rizeiqi, presented a paper explaining the developments of the war in Sudan and the possibilities for the future.
