Al-Dabba locality in the northern state has begun to implement the increase in fees imposed on “karta” from SDG2000 to SDG5000.
The Executive Director and Chairman of the Security Committee, Muhammad Saber Kashkish, stressed the seriousness in implementing the increase decision and putting it into safe implementation, pointing to the formation of a joint security force stationed in the mining market.
The director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company in Al-Dabba Market, Al-Hassan Ibrahim Hamid, explained after the security committee meeting that the meeting came regarding consultation on the implementation of the decision of the Minister of Minerals to increase the monetary fee for the traditional mining stone mobile “Karta”, indicating that the meeting discussed the security plan on how to implement it on the ground, and he said that the increase will support the state treasury, especially since the country is going through exceptional circumstances these days.
