The Ukrainian national team was forced to move its last training session in preparation for its friendly match against its German counterpart, from Nuremberg to Erlangen, due to heavy rain.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian national team said that the decision was taken to protect the floor of the Max Morlock Stadium in Nuremberg, which is hosting the friendly match on Monday, in preparation for participation in Euro 2024, which opens in Germany in 12 days.
The two cities are located in the state of Bavaria, about 20 kilometers from each other.
The draw for the first round placed Ukraine in the fifth group, along with Romania, Belgium and Slovakia.
