Launching an electronic export system
Sudan Events – Nahid Oshi
The official in charge of the Food Security Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, Ammar Hassan Bashir Abdullah, expressed his welcome and appreciation for the decision of the Central Bank of Sudan to cancel the temporary paper export system and relaunch the electronic export system.
He said in his speech to Al-Ahdath that any step directed towards technical and electronic work is required and important. He added that using technology is better for confronting irresponsibility and indifference. He stressed that technology helps in controlling and activating laws, especially those that are issued, noting that agricultural exports represent three-quarters of Sudanese exports, and he said that the step constitutes export control, state rights, and exporter rights, indicating that work linked to electronic technology is required in Sudan to address the loopholes that exist in the laws and are being tampered with. He pointed out that the Ministries of Interior, Higher Education, and Finance follow the technology and electronic work system.
