Kabbashi Arrives in Mali

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabbashi, arrived in Bamako, the capital of the Republic of Mali, on an official visit, accompanied by Defense Minister Lieutenant General Yassin Ibrahim Yassin.
Kabbashi carries a written message from the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, to the President of the Transitional Period in Mali, Assimi Goïta, concerning bilateral relations between the two countries.
He was received at Bamako International Airport by Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop and Defense Minister Sadio Camara.
It is noted that Kabbashi will depart from Mali to the Republic of Niger.
