Khartoum Water Authority announces urgent measures to fixing leaks

The Khartoum Water Authority said that its technical and engineering efforts succeeded in maintaining the water conveying line east of the Ahmed Sharafi grave yard and fixing the leak in a radical manner, which led to stopping the waste of water in the region, in addition to restarting the Beit Al-Mal water station in the experimental pumping stage. The Director-General of the Authority, consultant engineer, Muhammad Ali Al-Ajab, explained during the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Emergency and Crisis Management in Khartoum State, on Wednesday, that the Authority has put in place urgent measures to address water breaks in a number of areas of Omdurman resulting from the experimental pumping of the Beit Al-Mal water station, expressing his hope that it will provide supplying water to all areas fed by the station, appreciating the efforts of workers, technicians, engineers and administrators that were made to operate the station and maintain the conveyor line.
