Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lt. Gen.Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, said that the real battles are taking place in the media arenas… not in the battlefields.” Addressing the media professionals at the memorial of the late Aboud Saif El-Din, he added, “Carry the pens of truth and fight misleading, fraud, deception and the invaders of the internet and combat the aggression of the media against the people of Sudan.”
He called for rejecting hatred and stinking tribalism, spreading peace, exposing traitors and exposing the assistants of the invaders who sold their land and people for a few dirhams.
He continued, “We call on you to a real partnership between the State and the media to build the nation in its founding phase , which is a stage that requires more enlightenment, honesty, strength and institutionalism.”
