Killing of 35 people by militia fire in a couple days in El Fasher
Sudan Events – Follow-ups
On Monday and Tuesday, at least 35 people were killed in El Fasher as a result of the heavy artillery shelling carried out by the Rapid Support RSF Militia on the city’s various neighborhoods.
A medical source told “Sudan Tribune” that “in just a couple days, more than 35 civilians were killed as a result of the artillery shelling launched by the Rapid Support RSF Militia on the crowded neighborhoods, including volunteers in the Tambasi neighborhood.”
The medical source pointed to the deterioration of the health situation in the city after El Fasher South Hospital went out of service and the Sayed Al-Shuhada Center lacked many medical supplies, explaining that the victims of the artillery shelling are transferred to the SAF’ medical corps, while others are treated at home.
The neighborhoods of Tambasi, the vicinity of the Grand Market, Bashariya, Baranjiya, the neighborhoods of Awlad al-Rif, al-Thawra, and Makarka were affected by the artillery shelling carried out by the militia, where a large number of homes were completely destroyed and a large number of civilians were injured.
