UNHCR announces arrival of relief supplies to North Darfur

The UNHCR said that after weeks of waiting, 3 trucks loaded with basic relief supplies have finally arrived in North Darfur.
The commission explained in a statement that its partners will begin distributing the supplies to more than 1,140 needy families in Umm Baru and Kornoy localities on Tuesday.
It added: “Cross-border operations from Chad are vital to assisting people affected by the conflict in Darfur, Sudan.”
