US official: Sudanese people slaughtered, displaced, and tortured by Hemeti and his forces

US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield condemned the horrific attacks by the Rapid Support Forces RSF on Sudanese civilians in El Fasher, Wad al-Noura ,and other parts of Sudan in recent days.
The US official said in a tweet, “Many Sudanese have been slaughtered, displaced, and tortured by General Hemeti and his forces.”

She continued, “This war is destroying Sudan and its people in their selfish pursuit of power. Sudan needs peace now.”
