Programming Severe Power Outages in Port Sudan

Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company attributed the outage of one of the transformers at the main transmission station in Port Sudan to a sudden malfunction that caused a shortage in supply, which forced them to implement urgent programming for the available supply until the malfunction is resolved.
It reassured citizens in a statement on Tuesday that all employees of the transmission and distribution companies are fully prepared and working to fix the malfunction.
It apologized to citizens, and noted that the necessary precautions were taken according to a schedule that extends from 12 to 14 hours divided into two periods, part of which is in the morning and the other half in the evening.
It appealed to citizens to help rationalize consumption to reduce loads until the malfunction is repaired.
