Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied, on Tuesday, news attributed to its Minister, Hussein Awad, about Sudanese-Russian relations, and said that it was fake and baseless.
The Ministry indicated in a press circular that an unknown party fake a statement and attributed it to the Minister of Foreign Affairs about Sudanese-Russian relations, and distributed it as if it was published on Al Jazeera Sudan website.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Minister did not make this statement at any time, and that the alleged statement does not exist on Al Jazeera Sudan website, contrary to what appears in the fake image of the news.
