After rejecting Al-Harith’s speech… A wave of spherical attacks swept the leaders of “Taqddum “
Sudan Events – Abdul Basit Idris
The statement of the General Secretariat of the Coordination of Democratic Civilian Forces “Taqddum ” against the statements of Sudan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations UN directed at the UAE was met with a wave of violent attacks and a fierce spherical campaign against the leaders of “Taqddum ” and its position far from the people’s opinion on the war.
A resounding slap:
After the storm of the Sudanese representative to the United Nations UN within the corridors of the Security Council in which he held the UAE responsible for what is happening in Sudan in terms of killing, destruction and humanitarian crises as a result of its continued support for Hemeti’s militia, this position represented a violent slap to the UAE, which was not met with such a confrontation and international “revealing of the situation” in many areas in which it was a cause or partner in igniting the war.
There were rumors that the Sudanese ambassador to Abu Dhabi had offered an official apology to the UAE, but the Sudanese Foreign Ministry was quick to deny these allegations, affirming that Ambassador Al-Harith’s speech to the Security Council “expresses the official position of Sudan” regarding the issue that was discussed in the corridors of the Council. Statement of Taqddum :
In contrast, the Coordination of Democratic Civilian Forces “Taqddum ” rushed to issue a statement in which it expressed its rejection of Ambassador Al-Harith’s speech. The General Secretariat of the Coordination said in a statement: “In the Security Council session held on June 18, 2024, Ambassador Al-Harith Idris presented a statement on behalf of the Government of Sudan, reviewing positions that negatively affect the interests of the Sudanese people, and strongly rejecting all forms of external interference that fuel the war by supporting one of its parties.
The Coordination considered that Ambassador Al-Harith Idris’s statements express the position of one of the parties to the conflict, which is the armed forces, and there has been no legitimate authority in Sudan since the coup of October 25, 2021. It said that the ambassador’s statements went beyond all diplomatic norms and were characterized by chants and disrespect for the traditions that govern dealings between countries, especially in international organizations and forums. It continued that these statements perpetuate the policy of the defunct regime that isolated Sudan.
Criticisms and accusations:
While some considered the statement of the General Secretariat of Taqddum to be normal and consistent with its positions after announcing itself as an opposition organization to the Burhan government, the statement was met with a wave of Harsh criticism and a stormy campaign against the leadership of Taqddum , and (Sudan Events ) monitored angry responses on social media platforms from a wide segment of independent youth who actively participated in the December revolution, and identical comments such as “How much did you sell the blood for?”, ” Qahta are liars”, “Money does more than this”, “You traitors, you allies of the militia”, and “Al-Harith represents us”.
Paying bills:
In the context, the head of the Coordination of the Return to the Founding Platform of the Alliance of Revolutionary and Change Forces, Mohamed Wadaa, directed harsh criticism at the Coordination of Taqddum and the statement of its General Secretariat, and Wadaa said, “Soon, Taqddum will discover that it will not be able to continue paying the bills of the Emirates.”
He continued, “One or two people in one or two parties may have external connections that dictate that they engage in employment and mercenary work, but for dozens of parties and components to agree to throw themselves into the arms of foreigners, this is a phenomenon that needs to be studied and analyzed after excluding stupidity and coma.”
