“OCHA” warns of continued closure of windows that prevent famine in Sudan

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs “OCHA” warned that the windows through which famine can be averted in Sudan continue to close rapidly, affirming that the three main issues facing humanitarian workers in Sudan are access, resources, and focused attention.
The office said on the X website: “We now need access and funding to provide three things: cash assistance for families to buy food before the dry season, seeds for farmers during the planting season, and pre-positioning supplies before the rainy season.
