Seeking Return of Mining Waste Companies to work in South Kordofan

Director of the General Administration of Small Mining at the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, (SMRC)Eng.Siraj Dalman, revealed an assistant for the return of companies operating in the field of mining waste, a mine operating in Qadir locality, treating waste with great care for the safety of the environment and citizens, in addition to increasing revenues and supporting the national economy.
The Director of Community Responsibility Department, Al-Hadi Al-Kanani, meant the company’s keenness to preserve the rights of the local community from the share of community responsibility according to the position of the Minister of Finance No. “90”. Al-Kanani affirmed, during a joint meeting on (Monday) that included Director of the General Administration of Small Mining and the Director of the Community Responsibility Department “in charge” and the representative of the General Administration of Traditional Mining with a delegation from the local community of the largest locality, addressing the problems related to mining activities and ways to solve them to increase production and support public revenues, in addition to providing services to possible complexes for industries and mining activities there.
And stressing the need for coordination between the local community and relevant authorities to achieve stability in mining activity for the sake of development and service provision.
Regarding the disclosure of the Chairperson of the Agricultural Industry Development Committee, South Kordofan State, Hamad Al-Imam Musa, that the meeting discussed all issues related to local mining activity, and revealed a meeting that includes partners in the mining process to search for the optimal exploitation of local mineral resources, which led to the local community falling on mining waste companies that work to treat waste with great care and in a safe environment for humans, and is supported by the Mineral Resources Company SMRC Limited, which itself monitors and supervises the mining sector in the area.
