Chad returns Sudanese livestock looted from West Darfur

Chadian security services returned Sudanese camels that were stolen from the Mustari area south of Al-Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State.
Commander of the Chadian force, Saleh Abdullah, said that the camels were stolen 5 months ago from the Mustari area inside Sudanese territory before crossing into Chad.
According to “Darfur 24”, he indicated that the Chadian security services continued to track the stolen livestock until they were able to reach them, arrest the accused, and return them to their owners.
He called on the security services in the two countries to work to combat thieves and negative phenomena on the borders, announcing strict directives from the Chadian presidency not to be lenient with those who commit thefts on the border strip.
He affirmed their readiness to coordinate with the Sudanese side to secure the borders from looting and cross-border thefts.
