Opening the way for Egyptians to invest in cotton in the Gezira Scheme

Sudanese Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Lt. Gen.Eng.Emad El-Din Mustafa Adawi, announced the opening of a wide field for Egyptian investors Read in the field of growing cotton and soybeans in the Gezira Scheme through contractual partnerships.
The Ambassador pledged while meeting in his office in Cairo with the Governor of the Gezira Scheme , Eng. Ibrahim Mustafa Ali, to provide the necessary assistance according to the Gezira Scheme management regarding the agricultural plan and investment prospects that the Gezira Scheme management will push to Sudan in Cairo, including all the required needs.
From the total, the Governor of the Gezira Scheme affirmed the flexibility of the project and its ability to accommodate any investments that would benefit farmers, the project and Sudan, affirming the readiness of the Gezira scheme management to accommodate the Arab League initiative to achieve food security.
