Sudan’s Minister of Investment: COMESA Investment Forum is a major Event

Acting Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Madani Mahdi Sabil, affirmed that COMESA Investment Forum in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, which is organized by the COMESA Regional Investment Agency in cooperation with the European Union (EU) is a major event that brings together all heads and agencies of member states.
She indicated during her address on behalf of the heads of investment agencies in COMESA member States .
The forum (Wednesday) that the forum aims to enhance investment and trade within COMESA by presenting available investment opportunities with a focus on the sectors of trade, agriculture, renewable energy and information technology,
noting that it is considered a call to enhance the capabilities of national investment promotion agencies in COMESA to attract foreign direct investment.
She explained that the forum sessions will discuss how to benefit from investment opportunities in the era of digital transformation and the strategies necessary to attract investments and how to develop a strategy.
She appreciated the role played by the Tunisian Republic in hosting and organizing the forum.
