Belgium’s coach complains about the delay of his national team’s bus and the “laser pens” in the European Nations

Belgium national team coach Domenico Tedesco complained about organizational issues in the 2024 European Championship in Germany before facing Ukraine, with whom he tied without goals, but his lackluster performance continued in the group stage.
“We arrived at the stadium in conditions I had never seen before. We spent an hour moving from the hotel to the stadium with a police escort. The road was completely empty, but the speed was between 20 and 25 kilometers per hour. All traffic lights were red. I had to talk to the players for just two minutes and we shortened the warm-up period before the match. This is unbelievable. It also bothered me that anything inside the stadium could happen. Laser pens were directed in our eyes, and yet we qualified, and for this I am proud of the players. We were a little surprised, of course. It was very important to qualify, especially that we lost the first match and things were not easy. If we had conceded a goal, we would have been eliminated from the tournament. There is no message from me to the fans except that we need them.” Domenico said.
